Our grades explained simply
A grade describes the exterior appearance, and nothing else. Functionality is identical across the range: 100% of functions tested, and an identical warranty. Cheaper doesn't mean more fragile.

What makes the grid credible
Without a stated protocol, a grade is just a marketing promise. Here are our three objective criteria.
Observation
Device off, in daylight, held at arm's length (~30 cm).
Fingernail test
If your nail catches, it's a deep scratch — not a micro-scratch.
Battery
Remaining capacity measured and shown in % on each product page.
Our exclusions
Three defects never drop a device down a grade: they take it out of sale until repaired. That's our strongest commitment.
Dead pixel
A stuck lit or dead dot on the screen.
Stain or shadow on the panel
Shadow area, halo or burn-in visible on the display.
Cracked or shattered glass
Crack, through-impact or chip in the glass.
Whatever the grade, the warranty is the same
